Dealer*One was created for Dealer-only Alarm Monitoring Companies and Dealer Video GSOC operators, to provide the power of a collective network to share the costs of technology and people resources while maintaining independence as a smaller monitoring company.
We have all seen large dealer centrals mostly on the coasts pop up. Big buildings proudly presented on advertisements, large teams, even buying up small alarm centers who have trouble competing. This is happening primarily because it is hard for a smaller dealer alarm center to have the funds to stay even let alone bypass these centers. However, with Dealer*One those days are over!
Dealer*One was formed to combat the large dealer centers and give smaller local companies a competitive edge and advantage. You have the relationships, and the dealers know you by name and they are not a number. They can pick up the phone and talk with the owner. And your alarm center people care. They know in most cases the customers, and the dealers by name. You’re not someone thousands of miles away sitting in some large building working for some guy sitting on the beach in Florida.

We all operate the most advanced multi-tenant alarm processing software in the industry, which means that even though you are a local company with two operators on a shift, other members also have similar, which means across the entire country we have more operators on shift then even the largest dealer centers. Hence, your backlog can be given to free operators who aren’t busy. This also means a small startup alarm center who maybe can’t afford to have two operators on a shift at night, can have other centers handle those alarms until you grow and can afford more people. Another words, we standardize the workflow, scripts of what to do, and make ourselves automated to the point that not even the largest dealer alarm center can compete with us.

So, although we are smaller centers, we are or have the capacity to be the largest in the industry. And we operate some of the largest alarm data centers with millions of subscribers in the industry. We share receivers, data centers, engineering, programmers, IT personal, dealer support teams, state licensing teams, etc…. And the more local dealer members we add, the stronger we get, and the more scalable we are.
Professional Employment Company
Dealer*One has use of its own employment company. This means that your local company doesn’t have to employ anyone. This allows allocation of payroll to each member based on use of the employee. This gets the payroll headaches out of your hands and also gives us an advantage of a large group for purchasing the best benefits such as insurance, 401k etc…. With hundreds of employees on staff we as a group have more employees than any alarm dealer center, which means we can offer more than they can.
Lower Startup Costs
We have changed the game. You can basically startup a dealer monitoring company with no funds or startup costs. Everything is already paid for, and available to you. It really depends on how you wish to startup. If you want two operators per shift, building locally etc…. Then yes you will have startup costs, however if you want to build and have a business plan that steps into the costs as you grow, then we can help with that as well.
Cost Savings
It’s somewhat hard to explain all the areas we have an advantage being smaller locally gives us, while being the largest in the nation. Each member decides what cost savings they want. Maybe they decide due to their relationships with dealers, they will just create a dealer monitoring center with no operators and use all our other members to monitoring alarms. Or maybe the local company has a building, with staff and builds up the center. This dealer center can take on dealers but also make revenue monitoring events for other centers. You build your local company how you wish, as the costs to operate it are 10% of what these larger centers have. This also means you can easily price under the large centers because you have all the best software, AI automation, Telcom and IT infrastructure advantage over them.

If you are established, and having issue competing. We can help; however it means committing to our structure. We all operate the same software, PBX, telecom, payroll company, billing systems, financial software, email, messaging systems etc…. We standardize on event management workflows, AI systems etc.. However if you wish to really grow and provide your dealers with software tools that the large centers have. Then we are here to help you transition your business and begin a path of success.
Growth Support
Our founding member has provided access to funding as well thru a family investment trust. So, investment in your company and funding projects are also available for the right deal to help get you grow and compete. It’s kind of funny, most recently one of our small alarm dealer monitoring stations was told by a dealer by competition that he shouldn’t go with a smaller dealer center because they are all being purchased by the large ones. Thru our group and our family investment trust, you now have more resources available then any of these larger dealer centers do. You just have to really operate a dealer center well to provide your customer the dealer great service.
